ONE Card & Internet
ONE Card
After registration, you will be given a card within one week or so, named ONE Card, with which you can dine on campus, enter into Mingde Building Complex (where the business school is located), and pay for items in many on-campus convenience stores.
You can collect the card from the university’ International Students Office (ISO) in Room 108, International Cultural Exchange Center.
To top up the card, go to any ONE Card machine at the entrance of on-campus dining halls/canteens:
Place your ONE Card on the machine;
Add your Bank of China card to your ONE Card;
And transfer some money into your ONE Card account.
Campus WIFI
Campus WIFI is widely accessible. You can use WIFI after registration at the ISO (2-24 hours afterwards).
Choose the WLAN networks whose names start with “RUC”. Open your Web browser, and the web page will automatically be switched to go.ruc.edu.cn. Enter the username (your student ID number) and password (usu. the last six digits of your passport number), and you are connected to the Internet.
You can use up to 500 MB data for free. After that, you need to buy a data card from one of the kiosks and coffee shops on campus and top it up.
